Shaunice Hawkins – speaker, thought leader, branding strategist and blogger – is the founder of Evolutions Consulting. The consultancy offers human capital management services, diversity program development, multicultural branding expertise and advice to and/or on behalf of corporations, professional and trade associations, foundations and non-profits.
As an adjunct professor and guest lecturer, Ms. Hawkins teaches around the country on employee and labor relations, diversity, organizational behavior, workplace culture and race relations.
Previously, Ms. Hawkins led all aspects of the member services program for Magazine Publishers of America (MPA) and its membership of 225 publishing companies, 1200 magazine titles, 100 vendors/suppliers and 80 international media companies as Vice President of Member Services. In 2004, Hawkins left Wall Street to serve as MPA’s Vice President of Diversity & Multicultural Initiatives.
Described by her peers as the “Ambassador for Diversity”, Ms. Hawkins is best known for building strategic partnerships and alliances with key leaders, influencers and stakeholders. She was recognized in 2008 as a “40 Under 40 Dynamic Achiever” by The Network Journal for her body of work in the field of diversity and for her 20-year multi-industry career.
